The R’t Hon Nick Thomas-Symonds FRHistS, MP for Torfaen, Shadow Minister Without Portfolio, in the Cabinet Office, is a barrister, academic and political biographer. Nick grew up in Torfaen and lives locally.

Nick has published several political biographies: Nye: The Political Life of Aneurin Bevan (pub. I.B Taurus), Atlee : A Life in Politics (pub. Bloomsbury Academic) and Harold Wilson: The Winner (pub. W&N) , the subject of this evenings Talk
