About Bat Walk at Twilight at Newport Wetlands
Join us at RSPB Newport Wetlands for an enchanting evening as dusk settles and the reserve comes alive with the hidden world of bats. Guided by bat expert Peter Wilton-Jones, the experience begins with a fascinating introduction to these remarkable nocturnal creatures - their behaviours, habitats, and vital role in our ecosystem.
As darkness falls, we’ll set out on a gentle guided walk through the reserve, equipped with bat detectors to tune into the ultrasonic calls echoing overhead. This immersive event offers a rare opportunity to witness bats in their natural environment and discover the secrets of the night.
Perfect for nature lovers of all ages, though please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult. Come along for a magical evening of wildlife, discovery, and the thrill of the unseen.
