About 'Feets' of Engineering Walk for World Rivers Day
Celebrate 120 years of the Newport Transporter Bridge and ‘World Rivers Day’ and discovering two ‘Feets’ of Engineering by following in French engineer Ferdinand Arnodin’s footsteps with this 7-mile (approx.)walk!
Starting at the fabulous Newport Wetlands and taking in the ‘Cathedral of the Moors’ St Mary’s in Nash, across the Gwent Levels and along the newly upgraded Wales Coast Path to the Bridge’s East side, where you can learn about our current Lottery Funded restoration project.
