Join the Newport Transporter Bridge Project team for our first 'Bridge Talk' of 2026, welcoming Paul Busby from Tredegar House, revealing the fascinating life of Godfrey Morgan, a man forever etched into the story of Newport Transporter Bridge.
From his younger days as a dashing cavalry officer who survived the infamous 'Charge of the Light Brigade', to his time as Lord Tredegar, and his role as the most prominent public benefactor in the county.
Paul Busby is a historian and lecturer who works at Tredegar House. He is a very engaging speaker and this is sure to be an entertaining presentation!
