About BALLET CYMRU PRESENTS A TRIPLE BILL OF NEW DANCE
Artistic Director of Phoenix Dance Theatre, and Ballet Cymru Associate Artist Marcus J Willis, will be premiering an outstanding new work created especially for the exceptional dancers of Ballet Cymru.
MOMENTUM: Momentum captures a choreographer, dancers and company at the top of their game.
SURGE: Marc Brew is an internationally acclaimed choreographer and another Ballet Cymru Associate Artist. Marc will be working in Wales to create a beautiful new work, SURGE, exploring how we can capture the movement of waves to create new energy.
For the third year, Ballet Cymru is delighted to welcome the young dancers from National Youth Dance Wales www.nyaw.org.uk who will premiere a new work by award winning choreographer Yukiko Masui.
Ballet Cymru is delighted to announce that participants of the recently launched BALLET CYMRU BOYS programme will be performing a curtain raiser at the start of the evening’s performances.
