About YAC: Newport Sound Explorers

For ages 16–25 (or up to 30 if living with a disability) // Booking is essential

A new summer project for young people, curious about making art with sound and listening to the world around us! Explore alternative and unusual approaches to music making and sound design. You don’t need any skill at playing an instrument, reading traditional music notation, or previous experience using electronic recording or editing software. In sessions led by sound designer and music maker Rhys Cook, we will experiment with accessible approaches to using the sounds around us to create original works of art and music.
