The Riverfront Jazz Club is a monthly evening showcasing some of the best local emerging talent in Jazz, Jazz-inspired, Funk, Soul and R&B. Enjoy a cocktail and listen live to local artists soulful melodies in The Riverfront Theatre's intimate studio space.

In native Nigerian culture and spirituality, ‘Ogun’ is a powerful spirit known as ‘The One Who Opens The Way’. This is a notion that Ogun imbues in his artistry and his identity.

A multi-disciplinary artist from Newport, Ogun has made a name for himself with a sound that defies easy categorisation. His music blends a self-assured pride with a deep connection to his intuition, offering a unique combination of external confidence and internal reflection. Throughout his music, he weaves explorations of both the state of the world and his own inner landscape seamlessly.

Ogun’s eclectic influences result in a sound that feels fresh and continuously evolving, effortlessly bridging genres of Hip-Hop, UK Rap and Jazz Rap. He has been noted for his ability to balance lyrical prowess with intricate rhythms, alongside catchy hooks and memorable production.
