Pride in the Port: A Celebration of Love, Equality, and Community

Join us for a vibrant and uplifting celebration of Pride in the Port, taking place in Newport on September 6th, 2025! This joyous event promises to be a highlight of the year, bringing together the LGBTQ+ community, allies, and friends for a day of fun, music, and solidarity.

Parade and Celebrations:

The day will kick off with a colourful parade through the streets of Newport, starting at the Kingsway Centre and finishing at The Corn Exchange. Expect music, dancing, and a sea of rainbow flags as we celebrate our diversity and individuality. After the parade, we'll be gathering at various venues across the city for music, food, and merriment.

Community Events:

In the lead-up to the parade, we're hosting a range of community events, including a Trade & Play evening at Newport Gaming Centre on August 28th, where you can trade cards, show off your collection, and demo games to newbies. We'll also be hosting a Pray with Pride service at St. Woolos Cathedral, featuring the newly elected Archbishop of Wales, Cherry Vann.

A Community-Driven Event:

Pride in the Port is a community organization run entirely by volunteers, who are passionate about promoting equality, inclusivity, and love in our community. We're proud to be a grassroots event that celebrates the diversity and individuality of our city.

No need to book just turn up our main stages are Corn Exchange and Le Pub but there will be plenty of other places in collaboration with us with entertainment on the day
