About Christmas at Tredegar House

From twinkling lights and over 80 decorated trees to exploring the traditions of the Morgan family, there's something magical for everyone. Discover how Christmas was celebrated, from Tudor feasts to Victorian festivities and into the 1980s.

Festive House and Gardens
6-9 December, 11:30am-3:30pm
Delight in an early peek at Christmas in the mansion house, wrap up warm for a stroll through the frosty gardens, and enjoy a mince pie in the Brewhouse afterwards.

Late Night Openings
13–23 December, 12pm–8pm
Savour a cup of hot chocolate with holiday music, browse for last-minute gifts in the bookshop, and soak up the festive atmosphere during our late-night openings.

Family Festive Weekends
14-15 and 21-22 December, 12-8pm
Join us for two weekends filled with Christmas treats and live music. Spot Father Christmas roaming the grounds while he checks his list, and be on the lookout for Ebenezer Scrooge in the mansion house.
