About Meet the Volunteers Day at Tredegar House
Step inside Tredegar House and meet the people who keep its stories alive.
On 25 February, Tredegar House is hosting an event celebrating the incredible volunteers who power everything we do. From uncovering hidden histories to caring for treasured collections, this is your chance to meet the passionate teams who bring the house and estate to life.
Chat with our Archives Team and discover how they delve into family history and shape the stories you encounter throughout the estate.
Meet our Collections Volunteers and learn how they carefully preserve and protect the remarkable objects in our care.
Admire the stunning replica dresses created by the Make Do & Mend team, and hear how costumes, crafts and creativity help tell stories from centuries past.
You can even explore historic marks left on site with our Graffiti Project Volunteer, who documents centuries of fascinating inscriptions. Whether you're curious about heritage, history, conservation or simply want to chat, this is the perfect opportunity to ask questions, learn what volunteering involves and find out what it means to be a Tredegar House volunteer.
