✨ Step Into a Winter Wonderland at Our Christmas Lantern Parade! ✨

This Christmas, see the Wetlands like never before as we transform the night into a glowing celebration for the whole family.
Before our walk begins, enjoy cosy arts and crafts where you can decorate your very own lantern. Bring one you’ve made at home—or let your imagination shine with one of ours on the night! As twilight settles, we’ll gather at the Visitor Centre and set off on a gentle, hour-long parade leading up to the lighthouse along the coast and back through past the lagoons. Watch the landscape come alive with twinkling lights, laughter, and the spirit of Christmas. Crafts will include: Rustic Reindeers, Bottle Top Trees, Willow Baubles, Winter Gnomes and more!
🌟 Our café will be open, serving warm treats to make your evening even more special.
🐾 Please note: No dogs at this event.
👨‍👩‍👧 Children must be supervised by an adult.
🌧️ The lantern parade may be postponed in unsuitable weather.
✨ All lanterns will use battery-powered fairy lights—no naked flames allowed. Please bring your own battery lights if you’re creating your own lantern. Don’t miss this magical festive experience ✨

Car park charges apply, £5 for non-RSPB members, free to members. Members, please remember to bring your RSPB membership cards with you to be checked at reception.
