Discover the magic of the reserve after dark at our spook-tacular autumn evening adventure! This special night is perfect for anyone looking to embrace the crisp night air, get creative, and experience nature in a whole new light.

What’s happening?

• Spooky Hot Chocolate Station: Customize your own hot chocolate (vegan options available). ☕

• Newport Wetlands Bat Cave: Enter the bat cave for fun UV painting activities! 🦇

• Nocturnal UV Nature Walk: We will explore the darkness with UV torches and bat detectors to discover nature's twilight mysteries and nocturnal wildlife. 🔦

• Pumpkin Trail: Embark on an exciting trail to spot our hidden pumpkin friends! 🎃

• Halloween Crafts: Get creative with Rocky Rascals, Boo-tiful Leaves & Bat Buddies! 👻

Who it's for:

• All ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult, and admission is free for children under 3.

• Please note that only guide dogs are allowed at this event.

What to bring:

• Warm layers, waterproofs, and sturdy shoes or boots.

• A torch or headlamp (ideally with a red-light setting if you have one).

• A spooky costume or autumnal outfit is encouraged!
