About Welcome Festival

The Urdd Welcome Festival is in Newport on September 26th! This is a festival to celebrate that the Urdd Eisteddfod is coming to Newport in May 2027. There will be a parade starting from John Frost Square at 11am and finishing near the Riverfront Theatre, where there will be a jamboree and various performances near the Wave. All schools from accross Gwent have been invited to the parade! It will be a fun day out for the whole family!
