About Giant Charter Workshop

Become a part of making the giant charter with us as part of the Newport Rising Festival, by painting the 6 points and chartist signatures (as well as your own if you wish) onto a large sheet of fabric that'll be wrapped around a curtain rail to look like the newspaper illustration of the 1839 charter. This will be a feature for any member of the public to 'sign' writing their name on it as part of 'The People's Charter' and will be in the hub until the torch lit march on the 2nd November, where we'll carry it down stow hill.
