About Developing Entrepreneurial Women: Newport Stiwdio Work Shop

Commencing on 08.11.23, the fortnightly business start-up workshops will be delivered by visual artist and facilitator Prith Biant, live from the USW Newport Campus Boardroom. The aim of the program is to take the seed of your business idea and help you make it a reality. It runs of 8 sessions that each build upon each other.

The sessions will run from 9.30am to 12.15pm and 1.15pm-3.30/4.00pm, you can choose to take part in the morning or afternoon, depending on your schedule.

Prith has a background in creativity and business so has a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring to this programme. She has been running her own business for over 15 years, starting with an arts agency, then a creative training company and now as an artist. She works in schools as a creative practitioner, teaches and runs creative workshops with women around self-image and empowerment. You can find out more about her work here www.pritb-art.com.

The aim of the programme is to take the seed of your business idea and help you make it a reality. Over 8 sessions, which will each build upon each other, we will cover: refining your business idea, pricing, getting clear on your customer, marketing, getting comfortable with finance and cashflow, managing your time and staying focused.

In between sessions, we will have virtual zoom meetings to go over any questions arising from the face-to-face sessions. A limited number of 121s with Prith will also be available if you need individual support
