About Cutouts and Collages: A Workshop for Young People

Are you looking for something to do in the half term holidays? Why not join us at Newport Museum and Art Gallery to create amazing papercuts in the style of French artist Henri Matisse. Guided by local artist Beth Wilks participants will have the opportunity to experiment with this technique and create their own cutout artworks inspired by the Newport Chartists and their demands for democracy.

The workshop is suitable for 7 to 12-year-olds and free to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout. Spaces are limited and booking is essential (see Eventbrite link).
