About Carers Rights Day

Carers Rights Day is a time to raise awareness of the rights that unpaid carers have and recognise their invaluable contribution to our society.
To celebrate Carers Rights Day, the Newport City Council Community Connector team are hosting an Information Event with local partners. There will be lots of information and advice on offer for carers of all ages and backgrounds. Refreshments will be provided.

At 5pm there will be special showing of Disney’s Elemental for young carers and other carers who would like to stay.
